Joye Forrest is Miss Missouri USA 2021, her Platform is #HitTheStreets, Share Joye™ a non-profit 501(c)(3) scholarship foundation for underprivileged aspiring dancers and artists.
Joye has danced since the age of three, she followed her dream, receiving the Sharon Disney Lund scholarship, named for Walt's daughter, graduated, with honors with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the number three arts school, The California Institute of the Arts.
Joye has traveled to nine countries teaching dance, served an African orphan in Ghana, appeared in Althea commercial, the Power of She, Lululemon Korea commercial, including her recent commercial UNIQLO directed by Solange Knowles, countless music videos, danced professionally as a Laker Girl for the Los Angeles Lakers. Currently, Joye is teaching Dance, Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Cheer while studying for her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Joye is currently a brand ambassador for The Salvation Army, COCA (Center of Creative Arts), Afro World and Warriors for Ross.
This recently Published Children's book author was the first African American, Miss Teen Missouri United States 2017, and is the second African American Miss Missouri USA 2021, Joye has had the opportunity to speak at countless, schools, churches, and social events, always building self-esteem, breaking racial bias and barriers, and Sharing Joye.
